HOW IT WORKS

Timescale

  • Depending on the size and duration of your exhibition, a lead-in time of up to 3 months prior to the opening date is preferable.
  • The lead-in time is particularly important if schools or external institutions are to be involved.
  • The most intensive period of work will be during the time the exhibition is open to the public.
  • A follow-up period of one month is preferable if an evaluation process is required (usually mandatory if external funders are involved).
  • Budget can be discussed and advised as part of the service.

Budget

  • A budget is required to cover the planning and preparation of the Education programme.
  • Following an initial free consultation, a quote will be provided.
  • The quote will be based on a basic daily rate of £350.
  • However, if the project requires several months of involvement, a reasonable monthly rate can be negotiated.
  • A budget for the actual implementation of an education programme is also required (i.e. to cover space hire, fees for practitioners, educational material, lighting, transport, catering etc.). This will be discussed during the consultation.
